I’m Leonie and founder of LeoCo Collective.

Originally from Arklow on Ireland’s east coast, I have swapped the Irish Sea for the edge Atlantic Ocean in Portugal where I live with my partner and our dog, Mutti.

My work as a coach is driven by my curiosity for using powerful questioning and storytelling to facilitate positive change. I am a certified Brain-Based Coach, meaning I use the framework of neuroscience to inform my coaching approaches. I am also a certified One of Many Women’s Coach, meaning I bring insight and awareness of the soft power paradigm and feminine flow to all my clients. Along with these qualifications, I use directed curiosity, compassion and play to create a safe space for growth.

Before becoming a coach, I worked for over a decade years in national media in Ireland, mostly with The Irish Times, as Assistant News Editor and Health+Family editor. I continue to write as a freelance travel journalist with occasional editorial forays. I continue to support a select group of communications clients with whom I know I can design effective communications strategies, advise on brand management and assist or train them in media relations and PR. These is mostly in the SME & NGO space. When it comes to larger PR projects, mostly in the tourism space, I work with well-placed partners to ensure a complete 360 offering for all my clients.

My unique coaching style combines non-judgemental enquiry with compassionate conversations to generate powerful insights about how to take action and make positive, sustainable changes at key times of transition.
